Sravya bought a watch for rs480 she sold it to Ridhi at a gain of 6 $\frac{1}{4}$% Ridhi sold it to Divya at a gain of 10% how much did Divya pay for it.
Dear Mahveen,
The cost of the watch is given Rs 480
It was sold to Ridhi by Sravy at a gain of (6x1/4)% i.e 6/4%
Which is 1.5% of 480, (1.5x480)/100 = Rs7.2
Therefore, Riddhi paid Rs487.2 for the watch
Now she sold it for a gain of 10%
10% x 487.2 = (10x487.2)/100 = Rs48.72
So Divya paid Rs535.92
