Solve the following:$ 7 x-(2 x+5)=3 x-2$

Given: $ 7 x-(2 x+5)=3 x-2$

To do:  Solve for $x$.

Solution:

$7x -(2x + 5) = 3x -2$

$7x - 2x -5 = 3x -2$

Let us transpose all $x$ terms to left sides and all numbers to right side.

$7x - 2x  - 3x  = -2 + 5$

$2x = 3$

$x = \frac{3}{2}$

Therefore the value of $x = \frac{3}{2}$
