Solve the following:$3x+2(x+2) = 20-(2x+5)$

Given :

The given expression is $3x+2(x+2) = 20-(2x+5)$.

To do :

We have to find the value of $x$.

Solution :

$3x+2(x+2) = 20-(2x+5)$

$3x+2x+2(2) = 20-2x-5$

$5x+4 = 15-2x$

$5x+2x = 15-4$

$7x = 11$

$x = \frac{11}{7}$.

The value of $x$ is $\frac{11}{7}$.
