Solve the following:$-2\times 4+(-7)$


Given :

The given expression is $-2\times 4+(-7)$.

To do :

We have to solve the given expression.

Solution :

Bodmas method is used in these types of problems.

We know that,

$(+) \times (-) = (-)$

$(-) \times (+) = (-)$

$-2\times 4+(-7) = -(2\times 4)-(7)$

                 $=-8-7$

                $ =-(8+7)$

                 $=-15$.

Therefore, the value of $-2\times 4+(-7)$ is $-15$.
