Solve the following equation$2(m+1)-m=3(m+1)$

Given: $2(m+1)-m=3(m+1)$

To find:  We have to find the value of m.

Solution:

$2(m+1)-m=3(m+1)$

=> $2m + 2 - m = 3m + 3$

=>$3m - m = 2 -3 = -1$

=>$2m = -1$

=>m = $\frac{-1}{2}$

Therefore the value of m is $\frac{-1}{2}$
