$\frac{5}{2}  + \frac{6}{5}$


To find : 

The value of given expression $\displaystyle \frac{5}{2} \ +\ \frac{6}{5}$


Solution : 

Denominators are different, make the denominators same and add the numerators.

Take LCM, LCM of 2, 5 is 10.

$\frac{5\times 5}{2\ \times 5} \ +\ \frac{6\times 2}{5\times 2}\ \ =\frac{25}{10} \ +\ \frac{12}{10}\ \ =\ \frac{37}{10}$


The value of $\frac{5}{2\ } \ +\ \frac{6}{5} \ =\ \frac{37}{10} $.
