Solve the following:
$3x+2(x+2)=20-(2x-5) (3)$

Given :

The given expression is $3x+2(x+2)=20-(2x-5) (3)$.

To do :

We have to solve the given expression.

Solution :

$3x+2(x+2)=20-(2x-5) (3) $

$\Rightarrow 3x+2x+24=20-6x+15$

$\Rightarrow 5x+24=-6x+35$

$\Rightarrow 5x+6x = 35-24$

$\Rightarrow 11x = 11$

$\Rightarrow x = \frac{11}{11} = 1$

Therefore, the value of x is 1.
