Solve the following : $-8=6+8(x-2)$


Given :

The given expression is  $-8=6+8(x-2)$


To find :

We have to find the value of x.


Solution :

$-8=6+8(x-2)$

$-8 = 6+8x-16$

$8x-10 = -8$

$8x = -8+10$

$8x = 2$

$x = \frac{2}{8}$

$x = \frac{1}{4}$

So, the value of $x$ is $\frac{1}{4}$.
