Solution:
$\frac{6 x+1}{3}-\frac{x-3}{6}=-1$
$\Rightarrow 2( 6x+1)-( x-3)=--6$
$\Rightarrow 12x+2-x+3=-6$
$\Rightarrow 11x+5=-6$
$\Rightarrow 11x=-6-5$
$\Rightarrow 11x=-11$
$\Rightarrow x=-\frac{11}{11}$
$\Rightarrow x=-1$
