To do:

We have to find the value of x.

Solution:

$5(x-13) = 10x-(2x+5)$

$5(x) - 5(13) =10x - 2x - 5$

$5x - 65 =  8x - 5$

$8x-5x = 5-65$

$3x=-60$

$x = \frac{-60}{3}$

$x=-20$

The value of x is $-20$.
