Simplify the following:$\frac{1}{8} \times 3^{-3}$.

Given :

The given expression is $\frac{1}{8} \times 3^{-3}$.

To do :

We have to simplify the given expression.

Solution :

$\frac{1}{8} \times 3^{-3}$

$\frac{1}{8} \times 3^{-3}= \frac{1}{8} \times \frac{1}{3^3}$                 $[a^{-m}=\frac{1}{a^m}]$

                      $= \frac{1}{8} \times \frac{1}{27}$

                      $=\frac{1}{8 \times 27}$

                      $=\frac{1}{216}$

Therefore, the value of $\frac{1}{8} \times 3^{-3}$ is $\frac{1}{216}$.
