Simplify: $ (-9 \p 3)-(-49 \p 7) $

Given:

\( (-9 \div 3)-(-49 \div 7) \)

To do:

We have to simplify the given expression.

Solution:

We have to follow BODMAS method in these types of problems.

$(-9 \div 3)-(-49 \div 7)=(\frac{-9}{3})-(\frac{-49}{7})$

$=(-3)-(-7)$

$=-3+7$                   [$(-)\times(-)=(+)$]

$=4$

Therefore, $(-9 \div 3)-(-49 \div 7)=4$.
