Simplify $ \{-13-(-27)\}+\{-25-(-40)\} $.

Given:

\( \{-13-(-27)\}+\{-25-(-40)\} \).

To do:

We have to simplify \( \{-13-(-27)\}+\{-25-(-40)\} \).

Solution:

We know that,

$[(-)\times(-)=(+)]$

Therefore,

$[-13-(-27)]+[-25-(-40)]=[-13+27]+[-25+40]$

$=(14)+(15)$

$=29$

${-13-(-27)}+{-25-(-40)}={-13+27}+{-25+40}=29$.
