Shaina pays Rs. 15000 as rent for 3 months. How much does she has to pay for a whole year, if the rent per month remains same?

Given:

Shaina pays $Rs.\ 15000$ as rent for 3 months.

To do:

We have to find the amount that she has to pay for a whole year if the rent per month remains the same.

Solution:

The amount of rent paid by Shaina in 3 months $= Rs.\ 15000$

We know that,

The rent for a month can be obtained by dividing the given amount by the given months.

The rent for a month $= \frac{Rs.\ 15000}{3}$

$= Rs.\ 5000$

We know that,

1 year $=$ 12 months.

Therefore,

The rent Shaina has to pay for 12 months $= Rs.\ 5000\times12$

$= Rs.\ 60000$

The rent that Shaina has to pay for a whole year if the rent per month remains the same is $Rs.\ 60000$.
