Divya purchased a watch for rupees 336 including 12% GST and a pen for rupees 210 including 5% GST. 

To do:

We have to find the marked price for each of these items.

Solution:

Let the MP of watch be $x$ and the MP of pen be $y$.

This implies,

$336=x+\frac{12}{100} \times x$

$336=\frac{100x+12x}{100}$

$336 \times 100 =112x$

$x=\frac{33600}{112}$

$x=300$

Similarly,

$210=y+\frac{5}{100} \times y$

$210=\frac{100y+5y}{100}$

$210 \times 100 =105y$

$y=\frac{21000}{105}$

$y=200$

The marked price of the watch is Rs. 300 and the marked price of pen is Rs. 200.
