The commutative property for rational numbers:
The commutative property for addition or multiplication states that we can add or multiply rational numbers in any order.
$a + b = b + a$
For example,
$\frac{2}{5} + \frac{1}{5} =\frac{2+1}{5} = \frac{3}{5}$
$\frac{1}{5} + \frac{2}{5} = \frac{1+2}{5} = \frac{3}{5}$.
