Solution:

As given, Side $PQ=3\ cm$, height of the rhombus $h=2.5\ cm$

Area$=base\times height$

$=3\times 2.5$

$=7.5\ cm^2$

Thus, the area of the given rhombus is $7.5\ cm^2$.
