Plant parts show two types of movements, one dependent on growth and the other independent of growth. Give one example of the movement in plant parts :(a) which depends on growth (b) which does not depend on growth
(a) Phototropism is the movement in plant parts that depends on growth. It is the growth of plant stem in response to sunlight. (b) Thigmonasty is the movement in plant parts that does not depends on growth. It is a non-directional movement of a plant part, such as leaves, in response to touch.
