Palisade and Spongy Parenchyma are the parts of Mesophyll Parenchyma cells.

Palisade Parenchyma is located adjacent to the upper epidermis of the leaf. It consists of elongated cells which are arranged in layers with fewer intercellular spaces.

Spongy Parenchyma is present closer to the lower epidermis of the leaf. It consists of round cells, present in an irregular pattern (not arranged in any pattern) and with very large intercellular spaces.
