There are two main types of electricity-

1. Static Electricity - It is generated by rubbing two or more objects causing to build up friction. For Example, rub a balloon on a ball of wool and hold it up to the wall

2. Current Electricity - It is generated by the flow of electrical charge through a conductor (usually copper wire) across an electrical field.
