Name the physical quantity obtained by piding ‘Distance travelled’ by ‘Time taken’ to travel that distance.
When the travelled distance is divided by the time taken to travel the distance, the physical quantity we obtain is speed. It is a scalar quantity and its SI unit is $m/s$ or $ms^{-1}$.
