My sister purchased $\frac{17}{7}$ times of mangoes purchased by me. If I have purchased 15.4 kg mangoes, then how much weight of mangoes is purchased by my sister?

Given: Mango purchased by me =15.4kg

Mango purchased by sister = $\frac{17}{7}$ times of mangoes purchased by me

To find:  How much weight of mangoes is purchased by my sister

Solution:

Weight of mangoes purchased by him = 15.4 kg

Weight of mangoes purchased by his sister = $\frac{17}{7} \times$ 15.4 kg

                                                                                =  17 $\times$ 2.2                      [$\frac{15.4}{7} =2.2$]

                                                                                =  37.4

Weight of mangoes purchased by his sister = 37.4 kg
