Multiply:
$(0.8a - 0.5b)$ by $(1.5a-3b)$

To do:

We have to multiply $(0.8a - 0.5b)$ by $(1.5a-3b)$

Solution:

We know that,

$(a+b)\times(c+d)=a(c+d)+b(c+d)$

Therefore,

$(0.8a - 0.5b)\times(1.5a-3b)=0.8a (1.5a - 3b) - 0.5b (1.5a -3b)$

$= 1.2a^2 - 2.4ab - 0.75ab + 1.5b^2$

$= 1.2a^2-3.15ab+ 1.5b^2$
