The differences between a real image and a virtual image are:
Real Image | Virtual Image |
Real images can be captured on the screen as rays converge at that point. | Virtual images cannot be captured as rays appear to diverge from that point. They can be viewed in the lens or mirror. |
A real image is formed by the actual intersection of light rays | A virtual image is formed by extending the light rays. Actual intersection does not occur
