Mansi obtained 410 marks out of 500 in her half-yearly examination while Neha, her friend got 534 marks out of 600 marks. Find whose performance is better.
Given:
Mansi obtained 410 marks out of 500 in her half-yearly examination while Neha, her friend got 534 marks out of 600 marks.
To find: Here we have to find whose performance is better.
Solution:
Marks obtained by Mansi = $\frac{410}{500}$
Marks obtained by Mansi = 0.82
Therefore, Mansi scored 82%
Also,
Marks obtained by Neha = $\frac{534}{600}$
Marks obtained by Neha = 0.89
Therefore, Neha scored 89%
So, Neha performed better.
