Various applications of paper are as follows:
(i) Paper is used for making notebooks, textbooks, and other books.
(ii) It is used for industrial and packaging purposes.
(iii) It is also used for making banners, posters, etc.
Printing paper currency is not made of only paper. It seems to be the combination of cotton cloth, linen, and starch paper with other materials. This currency paper has more good properties compared to normal paper. Colored fibers are added to the pulp to prevent counterfeiting. The same kind of material is also used for preparing passports.
