Is it possible that sometimes the healthy seeds also float in water?

An object floats in water because of a property known as density. Lighter objects float on water while heavier objects sink.
Damaged seeds usually float on water because they are lighter as they lack the nutrients and other important materials required for a plant to grow.

On the other hand, healthy seeds have the required nutrients and other materials which make them heavier.Hence, they tend to sink.

In fact, this method is used for separating healthy seeds from the damaged ones- by placing the seeds in water.
