In order to pass in the exam, one must score 40% marks. If Manu scored 100 marks and failed by 20 marks. Find the maximum marks.
Given: , One Must Score 40% Marks to pass
Manu Scored 100 Marks And Failed By 20 Marks
To find: The Maximum Marks.
Solution:
Passing mark = 100 + 20 = 120
If 40% is 120, 100% is ?
$100 \times (\frac{120}{40}) = 300$ marks
So maximum marks = 300 marks
