This implies,

Outcomes where we get a doublet are $[( 1,\ 1),\ ( 2,\ 2),\ ( 3,\ 3),\ ( 4,\ 4),\ ( 5,\ 5),\ ( 6,\ 6)]$
Total number of favourable outcomes $=6$
Probability of an event $=\frac{Number\ of\ favourable\ outcomes}{Total\ number\ of\ possible\ outcomes}$
Therefore,
Probability of getting a doublet $=\frac{6}{36}$
$=\frac{1}{6}$
The probability of getting a doublet is $\frac{1}{6}$.
