$\frac{7x\ +\ 6x}{7}\ =\ 52$

$\frac{13x}{7}\ =\ 52$

$x\ =\ 52\ \times\ \frac{7}{13}$

$x\ =$ 28

So,

The number of girls = $x$ = 28

Number of boys = $\frac{6x}{7}$ = 24

Therefore, the number of boys is 24.
