If you stand in front of a mirror do you see your shadow or image? justify your answer?

If you stand in front of a mirror, you would see your image. When the light rays that are coming from you strike the smooth surface of the mirror, they bounce back at the same angle. your eyes would see these reflected light rays like a mirror image.
