# If the rectangle is measuring $10cm \times 15cm$ is divided into 5 equal parts, the area of each congruent part is?

The measurement of a rectangle is $10 cm \times 15 cm$.

**Solution :**

We know that,

The area of a rectangle of length l and breadth b is $l\times b$.

Therefore,

Area of the rectangle $= (10 \times 15)= 150 cm^2$.

It is divided into 5 equal parts.

The area of each congruent part $= \frac{150}{5} = 30 cm^2$.

**Therefore, the area of each congruent part is $30 cm^2$.**
