If the length and breadth of a rectangle are 9.2 cm and 1.5 cm respectively then the area of the rectangle will be?

Given: The length and breadth of a rectangle are 9.2 cm and 1.5 cm

To do: Find the the area of the rectangle 

Solution:

Length of rectangle = 9.2 cm

Breadth of rectangle = 1.5 cm

Area of rectangle = length $\times$ breadth

                                =$ 9.2 \times 1.5$

                                = $13.8 cm^{2}$

Therefore,  area of the rectangle is  $13.8 cm^{2}$
