If the focal length of a convex mirror is 25 cm, what is its radius of curvature?
Given,
Focal length = $f$ = 25 cm
To find : $R$ = Radius of curvature
Solution
We know that the radius of curvature of a spherical mirror is twice its focal length.
Mathematically it is given as-
$R=2f$
Now, putting the given value we get-
$R=2\times 25$
$R=50cm$
Hence, the radius of curvature of the convex mirror will be 50cm.
