# If the angles in a triangle are in the ratio 2: 3: 4 then find the measure of each angle.

** Given**: Ratio of angles = 2 : 3: 4

** To find:** We have to find the measure of each angle.

__Solution: __

Let the common factor be = a

So,

1st angle = 2a

2nd angle = 3a

3rd angle = 4a

Now,

2a + 3a + 4a = 180^{o} (Sum of all angles of triangle)

9a = 180^{o}

a = $\frac{180^{0}}{9}$

a = 20^{o}

Therefore,

1st angle = 2a = 2 x 20 = 40^{o }

2nd angle = 3a = 3 x 20 = 60^{o}

3rd angle = 4a = 4 x 20 = 80^{o}
