If I rub two balloons with the woollen clothes by different directions do they have the same charges in it?
Either you rub two, three or four balloons with the woollen clothes in different directions, the balloon and woollen clothes always gets the same charge.
According to triboelectric series, here woollen clothes lose electrons to become positively charged, and both the balloon gains electrons and become negatively charged
To find out which substance gains electrons and become negatively charged and which loses to become positively charged, there is a list known as the triboelectric series. It is a list that ranks materials according to their tendency to gain or lose electrons. The process of electron transfer as a result of two objects coming into contact with one another and then separating is called triboelectric charging.
