If I have 100 toffees and I have 10 friends and I have to give my friends an equal number of toffees, how many toffees each friend will get?
Given :
Number of toffees $= 100$
Number of friends $= 10$
To do :
We have to find the number of toffees each friend will get.
Solution :
Dividing a number (here 100 toffies) into 10 equal parts is,
$\frac{100}{10} = 10$
So that each of the 10 friends receives an equal share of 10 toffees.
