If C.P = Rs 200, S.P = Rs 150, Loss% =.......... .
Given: C.P = Rs 200 and S.P = Rs 150
To find: We have to find the loss percentage.
Solution:
Cost price of mobile (CP) = ₹ 200
Selling price of mobile (SP) = ₹ 150
Now,
Loss = CP $-$ SP
Loss = ₹ 200 $-$ ₹ 150
Loss = ₹ 50
So,
$ \ Loss\ \%\ =\ \frac{Loss}{CP} \ \times \ 100\ \ \%\ $
$\
Loss\ \%\ =\ \frac{50}{200} \ \times \ 100\ \ \%\ $
$\
Loss\ \%\ =\ \frac{50}{2} \ \ \%\ = 25\%$.
