If 2400J of work is done in 2s, how much power will be developed?

Given,

Work, W = 2400J

Time, T = 2s

Power, P = ?

Solution:

 We know that

$\displaystyle P=\ \frac{W}{T}$

Substituting the given values in the formula we get-

$\displaystyle P=\ \frac{2400J}{2s}$

$\displaystyle P=\ 1200J/s=1200watt$
