Solution:
Let the number of 5 rupee coins be $x$. 

This implies,

The number of 1 rupee coins $=x+60$

Total value of money $= Rs.\ 5 \times$ Number of 5 rupee coins $ + Rs.\ 1\times$ Number of 1 rupee coins

$=5\times x+1\times(x+60)$

$=5x+x+60$

$=6x+60$

Therefore,

$6x+60=360$

$6x=360-60$

$6x=300$

$x=\frac{300}{6}$

$x=50$

Total number of 5 rupee coins is 50.
