How would you measure the speed of a ball rolling on a floor ?
We know $Speed = \frac{Distance}{time}$
Let's say if the ball covers 20m in 5 secs while rolling.
Then:
$Speed = \frac{Distance}{time}= \frac{20}{5}$
= 4m/s.
