How to round off to nearest thousands?
To round off to nearest 1000s , we have make every digit before 1000 place as zero.
Let us round off 4200:
4200
The red colored digits should be made '0' as they are before 10s place.
But before you just discard the other digits and replace them with 0s, you need to decide whether you will round up or down.
The 100s place value is 2, which is less than 5. So we have need round down(replace 2 with 0)
So the rounded off value is 4000.
