How to round off the numbers nearest tens?

Solution:

Rounding off to nearest Ten

If a digit in ones place in a number is less than or equal to four, the digit to its left that is digit in tens place in the number is rounded down means written as it is and this digit is taken as zero.

Eg: In 32, since ones digit is 2 which is < 4, it is replaced by 0 and the digit to its left i.e., 3 is kept as it is. So the number rounded to nearest ten is 30

If a digit in ones place in a number is 5 or more than five, the digit to its left that is digit in tens place in the number is rounded up means increased by 1 and written and this digit is taken as zero.

Eg: In 76, since ones digit is 2 which is >5, it is replaced by 0 and the digit to its left i.e., 7 is increased by 1 and written as 8. So the number rounded to nearest ten is 80
