How to convert fractions into simplest form?

Simple Fractions:

A fraction is in its simplest form when the top and bottom cannot be any smaller, while still being whole numbers.

For example: $\frac{3}{6}$ can be simplified to $\frac{1}{2}$.

To simplify a fraction, divide the top and bottom by the greatest number that will divide both the numbers exactly.

$\frac{35}{40}=\frac{(5\times7)}{(5\times8)}$

$=\frac{7}{8}$.
