Solution :

To convert a higher unit to a lower unit, first check the number of smaller units needed to make the larger unit. Then, multiply that number by the number of larger units.

For example,

Convert 5 kg to grams.

We have to convert 5 kg to grams.

We know that,

$1 kg = 1000 g$

Therefore,

$5 kg = 5 \times 1000 g= 5000 g$.

The lower unit of 5 kg is 5000 g
