How many three-digit numbers can you make with 0,5,9 by using each digit once?

Given :

The given numbers are 0, 5, 9.

To do :

We have to find the number of three-digit numbers we can make by using the given digits.

Solution :

To form a 3 digit number with the given digits without repeating we cannot have zero at hundred's places.

Therefore,

When 5 is at hundred's places 0 can be at tens place and 9 can be at one's place or 9 can be at tens place and 0 can be at one's place.

The numbers formed are 509 and 590.

Similarly,

When 9 is at hundred's places 0 can be at tens place and 5 can be at one's place or 5 can be at tens place and 0 can be at one's place.

The numbers formed are 905 and 950.
