Given:
Side of the cubical box$=4\ cm$.
Side of each small cube$=2\ cm$.
To do:
We have to find the number of small cubes that can be put in the cubical box.
Solution:
Volume of the cubical box$=(4)^3\ cm^3=64\ cm^3$.
Volume of each small cube$=(2)^3\ cm^3=8\ cm^3$.
Number of cubes that can be put$=\frac{Volume\ of\ cubical\ box}{Volume\ of\ each\ small\ cube}$
$=\frac{64}{8}$
$=8$
8 small cubes can be put in the given cubical box.
