How Light passes through an object?

Light passes through only transparent objects. Translucent objects allow light partially and opaque objects block the light.

Light won't pass through any kind of objects normally. It changes direction many times and gets scattered as it passes through. But it passes completely when traveling through transparent objects.  But some part of it escapes while traveling through translucent objects. When changing from one medium to another medium some photons of light might gets distracted totally. So translucent objects pass only a limited amount of light through them

Opaque objects won't allow light at all. While changing the medium, all photons get distracted from their path and can't be allowed through opaque objects. Therefore, light cannot pass through opaque objects.
