How heat travels?

Heat is the form of energy that is transferred between two substances at different temperatures. The amount of heat transferred is measured in Joules.

Heat moves, travels, or transfer in three ways, and they are:-

1. Conduction: It is the transfer of heat energy from a hot object to a cooler one by direct contact.

2. Convection: It is the transfer of heat energy by the bulk movement of molecules within fluids such as gases and liquids.

3. Radiation: It is the transfer of heat energy from a hot object to a cooler one through electromagnetic waves without the presence of any material media between them.
