How does Snake move?

The movement of the snakes is known as slithering or crawling. As snakes haven’t any legs or hands to move around, they rely on their muscles and scales.

The scales help them to drag against the ground to move forward, and strong muscles help them to lift some scales and allow them to move along rough surfaces like branches and trees.
